Wellness
Sondercove
sonder refers to the profound realization that every person we pass is living a life as vivid, complex, and layered as our own.
We cultivate culturally responsive pathways to mental wellness and recovery for individuals and families across Wisconsin.
We deliver a unique blend of mental health and substance use services, while intentionally centering Black mental health, affirming LGBTQIA+ communities, and honoring the cultural identities of diverse families. Our multigenerational, multicultural team brings lived experience across race, age, and background—ensuring that care feels representative, responsive, and rooted in community.
Our diverse and unique team, in Madison, grounded by lived experience, offers mental health support, crisis stabilization services, case management, wraparound services, youth peer support, parent peer support, and recovery support for individuals navigating trauma, substance use, justice involvement, and systemic harm. We provide services through Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) while also offering community-based support beyond the CCS program through Sondercove Foundation ensuring access care without unnecessary barriers.

What We Believe
Sondercove Foundation
The Sondercove Foundation was created to bridge the gap between need and access in mental health and substance use recovery. We believe that healing should not depend on privilege, income, or insurance status. By funding free, peer-led, and culturally responsive services, we work to remove the systemic and financial barriers that prevent individuals from receiving the support they deserve. Rooted in the understanding that wellness is shaped by social determinants of health, we invest in people, communities, and initiatives that strengthen belonging, resilience, and holistic recovery.
